Hackers Help: Fit new IKEA oven into old AKURUM cabinet?

Has anyone figured out a way to adjust an AKURUM wall oven cabinet to fit the new IKEA wall oven?

They are out a bit and stick out at the front. They no longer carry the AKURUM deco strips so wondered how to adjust the cabinet to look flush at the front with the oven. So ridiculous that they change sizes a little bit. Our kitchen isn’t even that old. So frustrating.

Fit new IKEA oven into old AKURUM cabinet?

Our old oven is model no. IBS550PWS00 and the new oven is model IBS350DS02.

I am pretty sure I will need to get a 24″ oven to fit this AKURUM cabinet as this one is too deep. I think even if we cut some of the white out of the interior of the cabinet it will still stick out on the front.

Any suggestions on how to get the new IKEA wall oven to be flush with the cabinet?

Sliding Bookcase Doors KALLAX hack to divide your rooms

I replaced single-glazed sliding doors that divided the sitting room and dining room with a sliding KALLAX bookcase. For one “door”, I used two 2×2 cubes and one 2×1 unit. As we already owned 4 separate KALLAX 2×2 cubes and they seemed to be exactly the same width as the internal doors, we thought it might be possible to stack them.
