Ben Affleck is selling his gorgeous southern antebellum Greek-revival Georgia plantation for $8.9 million through Engel & Volkers. It’s nicknamed “The Big House” and here’s why:

  • It’s situated on 87 acres on Hampton Island.
  • The main “Big House” is 6,000 square feet and has several stately fireplaces and 15-foot ceilings.
  • There’s also a 10,000-square-foot guest house for 20 featuring five bedrooms and three master suites.

The living room is elegant yet relaxed and inviting, thanks to the slipcovered sofas. The grand fireplace has a mirror hung over it that reflects the centerpiece of the room: the chandelier.

The open, airy kitchen has a relaxed feel. Large armoires and an island provide storage for pots, pans and china.
